West One Music Group opens Stockholm office

West One Music Group has expanded its European operations in the Nordic region with the opening of an office in Stockholm.

The global music production company has appointed Nick Leonard as creative sales & music manager, The Nordics, Baltic States, & UK. He will lead the Stockholm office.

“With the opening of our Nordic office in Stockholm we are continuing our investment in one of the world’s most talent-rich communities of artists and composers,” said Edwin Cox (pictured), creative director and president of West One Music Group. “We’re fortunate to have the perfect person in Nick to help lead our efforts and expansion plans within the region. He’s been central to our success in London, and we know that will continue as he takes on the Nordics.”

“West One Music Group already has a strong roster of Nordic artists, writers and composers, and with our expansion we will look to make an immediate creative impact by working with media and production companies, who are increasingly relying on high quality sound and collaborative music partnerships,” said Nick Leonard.

Nick Leonard joined the West One Music Group team in 2014 as account manager, and most recently served as creative sales manager in the UK. He previously headed up Ministry of Sound's global events team.

West One Group has recently worked on sync placements for A Wrinkle In Time, Mr Robot and Black Mirror.

Last year the company launched a record label, Little Assembly.
