CEO Kerry Trainor has told Music Week he is “very pleased” with the service’s growth after implementing a turnaround plan.

The former Vimeo CEO took over at cash-strapped SoundCloud last August as it was forced to seek $169.5 million (£128.8m) in funding. Global headcount was cut by 40% as part of a far-reaching rationalisation.
