Joining a growing Clients team in our new London office, in the heart of the City overlooking the Thames, the Coordinator will support a rapidly growing global Client Services department with the day-to-day clients related tasks. To be successful in the role, you need to be a team-player, confident and comfortable communicating with our publishing clients as well as senior colleagues across the business, so exceptionally strong written & verbal communication skills is a must. To support our clients in the best possible way, this role also focuses heavily on critical administrative tasks and processes so you need a detail-driven mind-set and a comfortability with repetitive and data heavy tasks. Knowledge and understanding of music copyright, publishing and/or collection societies is in fact ideal to hit the ground running, as well as previous experience in administration with account management.

Our client service team transition new clients into the Kobalt system and manage existing client accounts by serving as the administrative point person (internally and externally) for any related queries. What would you do as a Coordinator on the Clients team at Kobalt?

  • Provide support to the Kobalt Client Relations team in day to day dealings with clients such as assisting with pre-deal schedule reviews compiling the information necessary to signing new agreements
  • Responding to questions from Kobalt clients as well as internal queries relating to clients accounts
  • Onboarding new clients as well as agreement maintenance coordinating the ingestion of new compositions and catalogues with Kobalt’s Copyright department
  • Support the team on any ad-hoc projects or tasks providing intelligent data manipulation or analysis using Excel

You will ideally have

…previous music administration and/or music publishing experience is preferred

…strong organization and prioritisation skills

…high level of numeracy & accuracy as well as a detail-driven mind-set

…ability to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks accurately and efficiently

…excellent communication skills-both written and verbal

…ability to make effective and timely decisions

…sensitivity to confidential information and material

…experience working in a client facing role is preferred

SPECIFICS

  • Based at River Building, Cannon Street, London EC4R 3TE
  • Hours are 37.5 hours per week. Generally, these are taken between 9.30-6 with 1 hour for lunch but amendments to these hours can be agreed on a case by case basis with line manager approval
