This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join a sociable, dynamic and successful agency as a Junior Booking Agent Assistant to work across artists including Mount Kimbie, Paula Temple, Mella Dee, Roy Davis Jr, Kelly Lee Owens.
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for organisation, a highly motivated individual with a great eye for detail, superb administration skills and a pro-active approach.
Applicants must be based in Brighton or willing to re-locate.
Duties:
- Issuing artist contracts and invoices
- Managing payment schedules and chasing outstanding payments
- Assisting on artist bookings and creating/sending promotional mailouts
- Arranging international travel and accommodation for artists
- Liaising with promoters to produce tour itineraries
- Advancing artist tech & hospitality riders
- Collecting promo material for upcoming shows
- Assisting with worldwide visa and work permit applications
- Responding to out of hours artist requests
- Managing and updating contact database
- Managing artist’s diaries
- Administrative duties including research, filing, correspondence and covering phones
Skills / Attributes Required:
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task, problem solve, work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a very fast-paced environment.
- Strong proven IT skills (Mac) - must be competent using Mac Mail, Word, Excel, Google Docs and cloud-based storage services.
- Absolute discretion – the role involves handling sensitive information and dealing with high profile clients.
- A flexible and accommodating approach to work, with a willingness and enthusiasm to devote time and support on tasks outside the immediate role remit where appropriate.
Previous experience:
- Music industry/booking agency experience is preferable but not essential for the right candidate
