The Programming and Education & Outreach Department is responsible for securing and programming the diverse range of events held at the Hall each year, engaging diverse audiences. In 2017 the Hall’s ancillary spaces, including the Elgar Room, North Circle Bar and Verdi Restaurant hosted approximately 500 events.

The role
We are seeking a highly organised, motivated Programming Co-Ordinator to join our Programming, Education and Outreach Department. The successful candidate will work with the team to deliver a varied range of programming across the Hall’s ancillary spaces.
The Programming Co-Ordinator will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a world class programme, booking performances that form part of our existing series as well as some standalone shows. Liaising directly with artists, management and external partners, the role will involve working across many genres including jazz, world and classical music, as well as comedy and family events. The role will also involve administrative responsibilities, often working to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
The person
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with cultural sector professionals, or of service delivery to external clients. Clear, effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure, whist building and maintain key relationships.
Candidates will need a professional manner and excellent attention to detail, with strong administrative skills. The role would suit a confident team player, who thrives in a fun and fast paced environment.
Experience within, or understanding of the event industry, especially the arts, as well as a good knowledge across musical genres is highly desirable.
