The University of Manchester Students’ Union and Manchester Academy is a unique organisation. We help people create memories that last a lifetime. We have a fantastic programme of events that attract over 350,000 people a year and we strive to create an incredible experience for all our visitors.
We’re looking for an experienced operations manager, with knowledge of everything important to make our events shine. You will be expected to have a keen eye for detail to enable first class delivery that involves working with a wide range of stakeholders. From some of the most famous names in music to our student societies and everything in between, you will need to have a pro-active delivery style as well as experience of getting the most out of a team.
You may already be working in a venue, a high volume licensed premises or another area of the events industry. The thing which will attract you to this role will be the fast paced, ever changing needs of our clients and you’ll want to go the extra mile to cement our reputation as one of the best venues around. You’ll have all the necessary qualifications, but we’ll also invest in your development throughout your time here.
