Fader Label reveals new signings, expands backroom team

New York-based indie Fader Label has continued its investment in emerging talent with the signings of singer-songwriters Charlie Burg and Zachary Knowles. 

Burg (pictured), currently on the road in ths US opening for Mom + Pop’s Ashe, has already amassed millions of streams, while Knowles gained traction with his single Slow Down My Thoughts and debuted his live show in Los Angeles earlier this month, opening for Alec Benjamin. 

Fader has made a handful of recent signings, including Clairo, and is expanding its backroom team to support them, bringing in general manager Carson Oberg to help lead the direction of the label under co-founder Jon Cohen.

The company has built the largest team in its 17-year history, with Yasmine Panah, formerly of Billboard and Cult Records, joining as project manager and Josh Hymowitz, formerly of UMG and SiriusXM, coming on board as label coordinator.
