Marshall Records signs distribution deal with ADA

Marshall Records has announced a new distribution partnership with Warner’s ADA.

The label, which launched last June, put pen to paper on an agreement with ADA last week, which, Cass said, will allow it to bolster its position in the market.

The announcement follows the label’s recent signing of Welsh rock outfit The Dirty Youth, with Marshall Records MD claiming that the new deal with ADA will help take the imprint to the next level.

“This deal is a real validation of what we’re trying to do with Marshall Records, Cass told Music Week. “The fact they wanted to get involved with us in this respect was a real stamp of approval. We have a vision of what we want to achieve and it’s fantastic to have their input and their guidance on what moves we should make next in terms of distribution and marketing. We are thrilled to be working with them.

“Warners is the best fit for what we want to do,” Cass continued. “They have a stronger presence than anyone else in the rock world. They are the strongest fit for Marshall Records.

Dan Chalmers, president, Rhino, East West and ADA UK, added: “Marshall is a renowned music brand that’s loved by fans the world over thanks to their dedication to quality and class. Marshall Records share that ethos. Steve’s a great manager and Rob a brilliant producer, they make a fantastic team and I’m confident that together they’re going to discover interesting and exciting artists.”
