New BMG UK president Alexi Cory-Smith targets further recorded music growth

New BMG UK president, repertoire and marketing, Alexi Cory-Smith has declared the company has “arrived in the recordings business” after its most successful year yet.

Cory-Smith described the move to president from executive vice-president (“After six years, I’ve finally lost the vice!” she quipped) as less of a promotion and “more of an affirmation” of her role leading the UK company alongside EVP/CFO Paul Wilson.
