"The opportunities are more exciting and diverse than ever": Michele Nadelman named CFO of Warner Bros. Records

Warner Bros. Records has today (January 16) announced the appointment of Michele Nadelman as chief financial officer. Nadelman comes to WBR following 12 years at Concord Music, where she was CFO of recorded music and SVP of finance for Concord Music Corporate.

In her new position, Nadelman will be based at WBR’s headquarters in Los Angeles and report to the label’s co-chairman & COO Tom Corson.

Speaking about her appointment, Corson said: “Michele brings a great combination of financial savvy and hands-on label experience to her new post at WBR. Not only does she have a stellar track record as a CFO, but her involvement in deal-making and acquisitions across both major companies and indie operations makes her a tremendous addition to our senior management squad. As we explore new ventures and platforms, Michele comes to WBR at just the right time, and I’m delighted to welcome her to the team.”

Nadelman added: “I’m thrilled to be joining WBR at such an exciting moment in both the label’s and the industry’s evolution. The opportunities on the creative and business fronts are more exciting and diverse than ever, and I’m looking forward to working with the entire team to help make great things happen. I’d like to thank Tom and Aaron for bringing me on board and opening up a new chapter in my career.”

At Concord Music, Nadelman was responsible for all of the company’s accounting and financial operations and managed a string of successful M&A transactions, including the company’s merger with Bicycle Music, the acquisition and integration of Imagem, the merger with Village Roadshow Pictures Group, and the integration of Paul McCartney/Wings’ catalogue administration. In total, she played an integral role in the acquisition and integration of over 30 record label and publishing companies.
