Deezer has announced new venue partnerships with two of the world's busiest venues, Manchester Arena and the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.

As the official streaming partner for both venues, Deezer will curate and create a selection of relevant focused playlists with special content, which will be available on the venues' websites, customer emails and social media platforms.

The content aims to get fans get in the mood ahead of gigs, discover new bands which one day may grace the arena’s stage and relive the experience after attending the gig.

Phil Moore, Deezer’s VP of Northern & Southern EMEA, said: “We are excited to partner with two of the UK’s largest live music venues, bringing fans in both cities even more ways to enjoy music. Our dedicated playlists will fuel the anticipation around a performance and allow fans to easily find compilations of their favourite acts.”

Manchester Arena will also be offering Deezer-sponsored Wi-Fi later this year. The integration will offer fans a unique musical journey, with access to Deezer’s library of 53 million tracks and their own personal ‘Flow’ - a never-ending soundtrack offering current favourites mixed in with recommended new and old music, tailored to their personal tastes.
