AEG Europe EVP Paul Samuels has vowed The O2 will be at the forefront of a “huge shift” in technology over the next decade after the venue agreed a new 10-year naming rights deal with telecommunications giant O2.

The London venue’s operator AEG and O2 will make joint investments to ensure facilities remain “best in class” at the venue, which has hosted the BRIT Awards since 2011.
