Midem launches its first-ever Live Summit

Midem has announced it will host its very first Live Summit as part of its annual event next summer.

The international music event takes place from June 5-8 and the first Live Summit is scheduled for the morning of June 7 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

It will feature leading live business execs to speak on panels and present case studies, as well as provide delegates with extensive networking opportunities and inspiration.

The Summit will tackle the current challenges and rewards of today’s live industry, as part of the global music value chain and provide a platform to discuss key issues facing the live sector at an international level.

Alexandre Deniot, director of Midem, said: “I’m delighted to announce the inaugural Live Summit at Midem. We are the home of the global music community and we are thrilled to provide a platform for dialogue and networking between the live music scene and the rest of the global music ecosystem.”

Last month, Midem confirmed Jennifer Breithaupt, global consumer chief marketing officer, Citi, as the first keynote speaker.
