Organisers of Event Safety & Security Summit unveil conference agenda

The provisional conference agenda has been unveiled for the inaugural Event Safety & Security Summit (E3S).

The invitation-only gathering is being held at the Intercontinental Hotel at The O2 on October 10, and is being presented by the organisers of the International Live Music Confrence (ILMC). Bringing together leading international venues, touring and sport professionals and security experts, it will see a mixture of dedicated presentations, keynote addresses and broader panel discussions.

“With input and active involvement from some of the most renowned security, venue and event experts in the business, E3S is shaping up to be a insightful and pivotal day,” said ILMC head Greg Parmley.

Dedicated presentations cover a range of topics from behavioural detection and crowd dynamics to search and screening and advances in festival security.

Presenters and chairs include Simon Ancliffe (Movement Strategies), Roger Gomm (Roger Gomm), Chris Kemp (MOM Consultancy), Ian Kerr (ID Resilience), John Langford (The O2 Arena), Carl A H Martin (cahm.uk) and Andy Palmer (Gatwick Airport). Around 200 delegates are expected to attend. 

E3S is being produced in ccollaboration with the European Arena Association (EAA), and National Arena Association (NAA) and Association of Event Venues (AEV) in the UK with input from other leading theatre and venue organisations and live event security companies.
