First Access Entertainment launches sports division

First Access Entertainment has launched its sports management agency, First Access Sports.

As exclusively revealed in the latest issue of Music Week, it offers multi-national, full service sports representation and will manage the careers of sports personalities across the board. There are also opportunities for synergies with music and entertainment.

Sports stars already signed to the agency include Southampton football captain Ryan Bertrand, Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and England and Gloucester Rugby fly-half Danny Cipriani.

FAS also represents rising talents including newly crowned Youth Olympic Champion, light heavyweight boxer Caroline Dubois, and British Fed Cup tennis player Gabriella Taylor.

Sarah Stennett, CEO of First Access Entertainment, said: "We recognise the extraordinary talent of our athletes as unique, powerful individuals, youth culture stars with enormous cultural presence and influence. Our mission is to create the foundations for exemplary performance within the scope of their core discipline and to enhance their visibility and ancillary value."

Louis Bell, MD of First Access Sports, said: “Over the course of the past 10 years I have seen the convergence of sports and entertainment become more entwined. Our holistic approach is tailored to the modern athlete and will ensure our talent realise their full career potential.”

Len Blavatnik added: “First Access Entertainment has a proven track record in talent discovery and representation. We have a team in place that can push the boundaries of traditional sports management.”

David Moss, former sporting director at Huddersfield Town, head of scouting at Celtic FC and academy director at both Swansea City and Crystal Palace, has joined FAS as head of global football.

“I wanted to join a dynamic and ambitious company, a real disruptor in the agency world,” he said. “Players have changed and are seeking something different from the people that represent them.”

Core services include player development, contract procurement and negotiation, public relations and social media management, alongside commercial strategies to develop athlete brands and wider business interests.

First Access Entertainment is a joint venture between Blavatnik and 2017 Music Week Strat Award winner Stennett. Music clients include Rita Ora, BeBe Rexha, Young Thug, and Madison Beer.
