Logan Media Entertainment and Sound Collective launch JV

Logan Media Entertainment (LME) and Sound Collective have launched a new JV called Vision.

The new division will focus on songwriting, production, artist management and label services and will sit between the two existing companies.

Founder of LME, Craig Logan – manager of Dido, Anastacia, Andreya Triana and Twinnie - is teaming up with Sound Collective’s producer and songwriter manager, Will Blake (Sky Adams, Danny Shah, Knoxa, Paul Whalley). Both companies will work out of LME's London-based offices at Rollover Studios, which is also home to one of Sound Collective's writer/producers, Sky Adams (Kylie Minogue, Zak Abel, Sigma, Hrvy).

The JV will be led by LME’s co-managing directors, René Renner and Vikki Josephs, and Sound Collective’s Will Blake and Nora Tamminen. Both teams will work together to help cultivate, develop and release music via the company’s own label, Hi Tea Records.

Craig Logan, who founded LME in 2010, said: "I am delighted to join forces with Will Blake and his team. Will has been incredibly successful in a short space of time with his hands on approach and drive. He has built a much respected client roster of pop, dance and indie producers. The additional resources and expertise that we will add to this JV will be invaluable for our clients. Our collective rosters will give us a great presence across pop, dance and electronic music.”

Renner said: "Our relationship with Will and Nora has grown over the last two years and we look forward to seeing how we can work together to integrate both companies where clients have the opportunity to tap into new resources. We aim to grow the songwriting and production side of our artists more. I’m excited about the new opportunities that will come our way and our strategic and creative services that we can provide to our existing and potential clients.”

Blake added: "I have big respect for Craig Logan and his team. I am looking forward to focusing on continuing Sound Collectives growth and excited to be entering a JV with LME on a joint management platform. Between our wide expertise across both areas it will provide existing and future clients a better service on a global level. Combined we are attractive to a whole range of new artists, writers and producers.”

The new company is looking at additional hires in management and A&R.
