Music Week Awards set for record-breaking year

Music Week Awards

It’s been a huge 12 months for the music biz – and the year will be celebrated with the biggest Music Week Awards ever.

For the second year in succession, more tickets have been sold than ever before for the music industry’s biggest and best night out, with tables now completely and utterly sold out for the April 26 event.

The crème de la crème of the music business will all be in attendance at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to watch the industry’s finest duke it out, with 24 awards at stake covering every sector of the biz. The bash will again be hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music’s star presenter Lauren Laverne and has attracted the usual array of blue chip sponsors.

The record-breaking awards come after a record number of entries for this year’s event. They also follow Music Week’s highly-acclaimed redesign last year, which has sent circulation soaring and seen the magazine shortlisted for Print Product Of The Year at the British Media Awards. Now owned by leading British publisher Future, you can expect even bigger and more exciting developments in the coming months.

First though, let’s get the planet’s biggest and best music biz awards out of the way. Anyone wishing to join the reserve list for this year’s event should email Becky Hancock on bhancock@nbmedia.com. And if you can’t get in? There will be full coverage on musicweek.com and our social media channels.
