The 2017 Music Week Sync Awards attracted nearly 500 entries before the deadline closed on Monday (July 10), setting the scene for the event’s biggest edition yet.
Music Week’s team of sync experts is now examining the record-breaking haul of nominations ahead of the October 19 event, which this year moves to its new, larger venue at 8 Northumberland Avenue.
The shortlists for 24 categories – including the new awards for Best Social Media/Online Partnership, Best Branded Entertainment, Music Supervisor – Video Games, Best Sync – Video Game Soundtrack, Overall Film Soundtrack and Overall TV Series Soundtrack – will be announced in the next few weeks, so stay tuned to musicweek.com and our social media feeds for updates and announcements.
With interest in the Sync Awards at an all-time high, table sales are now open and already selling fast, with early bird booking available until July 21. The Sync Awards is supported this year by Tape as our platinum partner, and PRS For Music are the official event partner.
