Music specialist PR agency The Rest Is Noise has recruited Ro Sakhardande to head up their London office as events PR manager.
Sakhardande was previously account director at Jukebox PR, where he specialised in international events. In his new role, he will work alongside director/founder Angie Towse to further develop the international side of the business. Sakhardande’s direct team will include releases manager Thomas Romana, senior events PR Owen Bloodworth and press officers Deborah Gabriel and Lee Wakefield.
The Rest Is Noise – now in its fifth year of operation – has offices in London and Berlin. Its client roster includes Houghton Festival, The Warehouse Project, fabric, Elrow Global, Pikes Ibiza, Junction 2, Love Saves The Day, Kala Festival Albania, Gottwood, Off Sonar, Motion, Jam On Rye, Wigflex as well as a number of releases and artist press.
Speaking about the appointment, Angie Towse, said: “We’re so pleased to welcome Ro onboard. He’s a perfect company fit for us and whilst we’ve got ourselves into a good position in our first few years, now is the time for us to start widening our offering and looking more to the international events scene. It makes perfect sense for us that we bring in Ro with his experience to be an integral part of this development.”
