Communion Publishing announces new signings, appoints GM

Communion Publishing has made two new signings - Peace (pictured), and MarthaGunn - as well as announcing the appointment of former Touch Tones Music GM Tom Prové as general manager.

The company has also renewed its longstanding admin partnership with Kobalt Music.

“As well as happily renewing our long term publishing partnership with Sas, Nick and the great team at Kobalt, we are very pleased to be able to welcome into the Communion family Peace, an established UK live act who are writing the best songs of their career, and MarthaGunn, a young band from Brighton with huge potential," said Communion MD Jamie Emsell.

"We are also thrilled to have Tom Prové join the team – he is a talented and thoughtful publisher, and the perfect fit for what we are trying to achieve at this exciting time for our company.”

Kobalt’s chief creative officer Sas Metcalfe added: "Communion Publishing has established themselves as a true music-loving company. As their roster has grown, they have maintained high standards of quality and credibility. We are proud to continue working with them and being a part of their vision and success."

Communion Publishing is part of the Communion Music Group, which includes Caroline/UMG distributed label Communion Records (Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bear’s Den, Lucy Rose, Dan Croll) and live promoter Communion Presents (George Ezra, Maggie Rogers, Michael Kiwanuka, James Bay, Jack Garratt, Daughter). Its roster also includes tipped new Communion Records artists Joseph J. Jones and Banfi, and long-time Communion collaborator Matthew and the Atlas.
