Downtown Music Publishing has promoted Bea Koramblyum as VP of business affairs.
In her new role, Koramblyum, who was previously senior director of business affairs, has taken the lead role in Downtown's business and legal affairs department both with respect to external negotiations and internal affairs.
"It is with great pride that I'm announcing that Bea has been promoted to vice-president of business affairs," said COO and general counsel Andrew Bergman. "Bea just celebrated her sixth anniversary with the company and I can say with certainty that we are a better company as a direct result of her industry experience, hard work and positive presence and external relationships."
Prior to joining Downtown, Koramblyum was a paralegal with Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, where she was involved in the day-to-day business affairs of artists such as Kanye West, Raekwon, LL Cool J and Ludacris.
