Reservoir launches JV with Warren

Reservoir has formed a joint venture with Grammy-winning writer and producer Warren “Oak” Felder.

Under the terms of the deal, the independent publisher and Felder will sign and develop creative talent. Their first signing is LA-based production and songwriting duo The Orphanage, who co-wrote Demi Lovato’s Sorry Not Sorry with Felder.

Felder received two 2014 Grammy Awards for his work on Alicia Keys’ Girl On Fire and Rihanna’s Unapologetic, as well as working on hits by Alessia Cara, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Miguel, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Derulo, Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean.

Reservoir SVP of creative and A&R, Donna Caseine, will oversee day-to-day creative for The Orphanage, with additional support from Reservoir’s creative teams in New York and London.

“We are excited to announce a new relationship with Oak Felder, one of the most accomplished and talented producer/songwriters in today’s music,” said Caseine. “Our shared passion and belief in Trevor & Zaire (The Orphanage) will surely be the beginning of a very new and exciting chapter for us all.”

Felder added: “Having your own success is rewarding, but there is nothing quite like having success with those you’ve mentored. Trevor and Zaire from The Orphanage have come so far, and this is really just the beginning. It’s awesome to have a great team in Reservoir to continue to develop these guys.”
