Marcela Vaccari has been appointed as VP, business development, Latin America and Spain.
In the role, Vaccari will work on enhancing Warner Music’s existing business partnerships and striking new deals to help grow revenue for the company and its artists.
Iñigo Zabala, president of Warner Music Latin America and Iberia, said: “Marcela is an incredibly talented and hard-working executive. She’s built great relationships with our partners and is always keen to explore new opportunities on behalf of our artists. This new role is recognition of her amazing efforts to date and I have high expectations of what she’ll achieve in the future.”
Vaccari said: “I’m delighted to be working with Iñigo and the team as we further build Warner Music’s presence in key emerging markets. Everyone’s been talking about the global explosion of Latin Music, but what’s less well-known are the accompanying commercial opportunities for artists across the Latin markets themselves. I want to make sure that we’re in a position to pioneer the future growth of our industry and connect our artists’ music to the widest possible audience.”
Vaccari joined Warner Music in 2007 as a new media and business assistant at Warner Music Argentina. In 2012, she became new media and business manager for Southern Cone Latin America.
