Run The Jewels unveil Record Store Day 2018 release

Run The Jewels have unveiled their Record Store Day 2018 release with a new video.

Posted via the rap duo’s YouTube page today (April 16), the film shows fans inside the Stay Gold Collector’s Jewel Box.

The release is limited to 5,000 copies worldwide and includes a 12” EP etched on clear vinyl with custom Marvel Comics artwork, slipmat, collectible poster and sticker set. The collection is housed in a metal box with space for copies of the duo’s three albums so far - Run The Jewels 1, 2 and 3 – as well as the upcoming Run The Jewels 4.

Run The Jewels are American Record Store Day ambassadors for 2018, reprising a role previously filled by Iggy Pop, St Vincent and Metallica.

Killer Mike and El-P appear on the cover of the new issue of Music Week, out now. The issue is a Record Store Day special, as we look at RSD 2018, vinyl subscription services and the future of physical music.

For the cover story, we join Run The Jewels on the road in New York’s Barcalys Center arena during their tour as main support for Lorde.

Keep an eye on musicweek.com throughout the week for more from the interview. Run The Jewels are set to support Queens Of The Stone Age at London’s Finsbury Park on June 30, alongside Iggy Pop, Brody Dalle, Curtis Harding and more.
