Lucy Blair Pettersson has taken on a new executive role in independent label services at Spotify.
Blair Pettersson, who was previously director, international sales and marketing at The Orchard, will report to Chris Stoneman, head of independent label services UK at Spotify.
Blair Pettersson announced her appointment via Twitter and said she was “looking forward to working closely with the incredible UK indie community”.
Stoneman added: “I’m thrilled to have Lucy join our Spotify UK team. Very excited to see what we can achieve in our ongoing partnership with all you wonderful UK indie folk.”
Blair Pettersson joined The Orchard in May 2016 as the company expanded its European HQ. She had oversight for both UK and pan-European sales and marketing efforts at digital and physical retail, as well as managing digital retail relationships across Europe.
Last year she was recognised in the Roll Of Honour at the Music Week Women In Music Awards.
