'True artistic development': AWAL ups Aaron Bogucki to VP, marketing

AWAL has promoted Aaron Bogucki to vice president, marketing.

The London-based Bogucki joined AWAL in 2018 and in his new role will oversee increased integration of marketing and digital, with the team to focus on creative campaigns and audience development. 

Bogucki has played a key role on campaigns for AWAL acts such as Lauv, Tom Misch, The Kooks, and You Me At Six. He steered a YouTube Music partnership for Little Simz's Grey Area, which sored a Mercury Prize nomination this year. He spoke at the Music Week Tech Summit Together with O2 last year.

AWAL general manager Paul Trueman said: “Since joining AWAL, Aaron has become an integral member of the team, taking our digital marketing offering to the next level and displaying strong leadership and creative vision. As we work with an increasing number of developing artists, with a deeper focus on building audiences, engagement and consumption, Aaron is the perfect person to spearhead our creative, integrated digital and marketing campaigns in his new role as VP, marketing.”

Bogucki arrived art AWAL in February 2018 as VP, digital marketing. He previously served at Polydor and spent three years in New York as VP, digital marketing at Republic Records.
