Vinyl destination: HMV can 'drag market into growth'

HMV has rolled out its LP expansion programme with a major re-fit of stores, which head of music John Hirst hopes will restore the vinyl revival. After several years of increases, vinyl suffered a shock 1.1% fall in sales in Q2, according to Official Charts Company data. The decline occurred despite Record Store Day taking place in that quarter.
