Avicii collaborators set for tribute concert

A tribute concert for Avicii is set to be staged in Stockholm on December 5.

As well as 19 vocalists who performed on the late DJ’s songs – including Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert and Rita Ora – the concert will feature sets from David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero.

The guest vocalists will perform alongside a 30-piece band at the Friends Arena.

All profits for the Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness will go to organisations supporting mental health needs and suicide prevention. It is produced by the foundation established following the apparent suicide last year of Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling.

“Tim had plans for his music to be performed together with a large live band, and now we are realizing his dream and giving fans a chance to experience his music in this unique way,” said his father, Klas Bergling.
