Charts analysis: Lewis Capaldi racks up a fourth week at the summit of the Albums Charts

Sales of Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent continue to ebb but the 22-year-old Scot remains atop the chart for the fourth week in a row with the set on consumption of 27,590 units (including 14,983 from sales-equivalent streams). The last album by a new artist to debut at No.1 and take longer to be dethroned was X Factor winner Leona Lewis’ Spirit, which racked up seven straight weeks at the summit in 2007.
