Sure enough the numbers this week make for some rather grim reading. The artists albums market is down 7.3% week on week to a just 1,557,107 units. Physical sales fell 12.2%, downloads by 6.6% and streams by 6.6%, with the streaming share now standing at 79.32% of the total.
