Twenty five years ago, in the heart of Croydon, the BRIT School opened its doors for the first time. Since then it has educated thousands of South London youngsters and produced hundreds of successful musicians, dancers, actors and more, including, of course, the most successful musical artist of recent times, Adele.
School principal Stuart Worden actually backs away from the word ‘produced’. He modestly says instead that she, and others, “have just been here and trained here”.
