There is just one week left to send in your nominations for the 2016 Music Week Sync Awards.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, August 19, so be sure to send in your entries before it’s too late.
Returning for 2016, the Sync Awards will be held at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom on October 20 to celebrate the best sync individuals, teams and placements across a broad range of media over the past 12 months. Plus there is the overall Sync of the Year award.
The shortlist will be decided on the quality of nominations, rather than the number of nominations. And remember, nominations can come from either companies or individuals.
The nominations process has been changed this year so that all entries will be submitted via a standardised form, levelling the playing field for all. Submissions can originate from outside the UK, but please bear in mind that we would ideally like all shortlisted parties to attend the Awards evening if at all possible.
Each of the awards is judged by specialist panels according to a mixture of commercial and creative criteria, with winners selected from the ranks of record companies, publishers, sync teams and music supervisors, plus the worlds of broadcast and advertising.
The event kicks off with a drinks reception at 18.30, followed by a welcome dinner at 19.30. The awards presentation begins at 21.15 with an after party at 22.30 until late.
And once again, that all-important nominations deadline is Friday, August 19.
