'Passion for live music': Warner Music Artist Services ups Andrew Peterson to VP role

Warner Music Artist Services (WMAS) has promoted Andrew Peterson to vice president, tour & artist services.

WMAS is the merchandise, e-commerce, and digital marketing arm of Warner Music Group, and Peterson is to head up its live projects and its Nashville operation.

Peterson has toured with an array of artists including Shinedown, Kid Rock, and Panic! At The Disco. At WMAS, his team will be responsible for artist merchandise on the road and bespoke fan VIP experiences. He will report to Dan Goldberg, SVP, WMAS.

Goldberg commented: “We’ve been lucky to have Andrew build our live department since its inception nearly 10 years ago. He truly understands the intricacies of touring and the ins-and-outs of merchandising – and it’s been a pleasure to watch him evolve into the leader that he is today.”

Peterson added: “I’ve always had a passion for live music and creating truly unforgettable and unique experiences. I’m grateful to Dan, Matt Young and the entire WMAS team for their support and I look forward to continuing to serve our artists and fans around the world.”

Peterson arrived at WMAS in 2009 and has held numerous roles including, manager, senior manager, director and VIP. Previously, he served as merchandise manager/tour manager for Merchandise Management.
