Amazon Music’s global leader Steve Boom has spoken about the streaming service’s “spectacular” performance in the UK.
While the online giant rarely breaks out results for its streaming platform, execs declared that it is now No.2 in Britain behind Spotify.
It follows the company’s chart coup at the end of last year when it scored the No.1 single with an Amazon Original, Ellie Goulding’s cover of River (207,498 sales to date – Official Charts Company).
