BPI urges Google to reform 'notice and take-down' procedure

The BPI is calling for a reform in Google’s approach to ‘notice and takedown’ procedure ahead of the expected removal of the 200 millionth infringing link this weekend.
In a bid to support the legal music market, the BPI have been notifying Google of links to illegal music since July 2011, aiding the subsequent removal of these links from Google searches.
