Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You has today become the most-streamed track of all time on Spotify.
The single from Sheeran’s ÷ album (Asylum/Atlantic) peaked at No.1 in the UK. The album has sold 10 million globally.
Shape Of You today reached 1,318,420,396 streams, having just overtaken the previous record-holder, Drake's One Dance (1,317,143,742 streams).
Sheeran is currently the most-streamed artist in the world, with over 40 million monthly listeners. He is the second most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify, with over 10 billion streams (second to Drake).
Spotify said Ed Sheeran is most popular in Mexico City, where he currently has more than 850,000 monthly listeners.
Sheeran has confirmed the release of Perfect as the official fourth single from the album.
