'Amazon' selling fake CDs
A quarter of CDs sold by third-parties through Amazon are counterfeits, according to the RIAA.
The body conducted research by ordering music from several online retailers.
The RIAA's study revealed that 25% of CDs sold under the "Fulfilled by Amazon" umbrella, which allows third-party vendors to sell to the online retailer's customers, were fakes.
The research also concluded that 16% of CDs bought from eBay were counterfeit too, as 11% percent sold directly by Amazon.
Major deal for Walshy Fire
Major Lazer's Walshy Fire has signed a global publishing deal with Concord.
The new agreement will cover all his existing work, including collaborations, and all his music going forward.

Angela Nguyen promoted at head Warner Music Artist Services
Warner Music Artist Services has promoted Angela Nguyen to vice president.
Having held several previous roles at the label, she will now work on Warner Music Group's in-house merchandising, e-commerce, and digital marketing arm which is based in New York.
Downtown heads to Soho
Downtown Music Holdings are moving to a new, bigger offices in New York.
Downtown, which "manages and develops multiple businesses within the music industry", can now be found at 155 Avenue of the Americas in the Big Apple's Soho district.
