Fuga reveal three new senior hires

Music distribution company Fuga have appointed three new senior members of staff.

Craig May – who will be based out of the company's London office in Tileyard – joins as global head of streaming & marketing services.

An official press release stated that May, formerly of Ditto Music, will be “responsible for leading the multi-region marketing team at FUGA. He will manage the growth, development, execution and measurement of digital marketing strategies in partnership with FUGA’s clients.” 

Commenting on his new position, Craig May said: “Having used FUGA’s solutions over the past few years, I know the class-leading level of service they provide their clients and I am delighted to be joining the team as they begin the next phase of their development under the Downtown umbrella.”

Also announced is Manan Vohra appointment as Fuga’s new global head of technology and product. Vohra – who joins from 7digital – will be based at the company's HQ in Amsterdam reporting directly to CEO, Pieter Van Rijn.

In his new role Vohra will be responsible “for aligning the product and technology vision and operations with a focus to deliver an outstanding experience and value to Fuga’s customers.” 

Manan Vohra said: “I am excited to join FUGA at this time of growth and am looking forward to collaborating with the wider management, product and technology teams to help take FUGA to the next level.” 

Completing the list of changes, Rob Webb has been appointed as Fuga’s new head of product. Webb – who previously served as VP, digital operations & supply chain at AWAL – will manage Fuga’s team of product owners and ensure “Fuga's roadmap delivers value and helps its customers to succeed in the marketplace.” Webb will report directly to Vohra.

Rob Webb said: “Becoming Fuga’s new Head Of Product at such an exciting time in the company’s history was an opportunity I simply couldn’t turn down. I’m excited to collaborate with Manan, Craig and the rest of the Fuga team on the mission to help our partners grow their digital businesses.”

In welcoming the new hires, Fuga CEO Pieter Van Rijn added: “We’re incredibly fortunate and privileged to have three highly experienced professionals joining our team as we continue to grow our business and market position. I look forward to working with Craig, Manan and Rob as we strive to achieve our global ambitions in our space so we can continue serving the independent music community.”
