Ingrooves unveils strategic marketing and label development appointments

Ingrooves has announced five appointments to its strategic marketing and label development divisions. 

The music distribution and marketing services company has named journalist and DJ Meka Udoh (pictured) as manager, urban marketing. Based in New York, Udoh - co-founder of 2DopeBoyz - will work alongside Ingrooves account managers, label development managers and the engagement team.

Alex Montes-Flores has been named senior manager, Latin label development. Based in Ingrooves' Los Angeles headquarters, Montes-Flores will oversee the company's Latin, Caribbean and reggae label roster. The industry veteran was most recently head of sales & marketing at Nacional Records.

Sheneza Mohammed, who has a background in electronic music and label management, has been named label development manager. Mohammed will be based in Los Angeles overseeing a diverse roster of label partners.

Joshua Hedglin has been appointed manager, label and business development. Based in Ingrooves' Berlin office, Hedglin will oversee Ingrooves roster of UK & European dance and electronic labels and work to bring in label partners. He previously worked at Beatport.  

Emmy Buckingham is now manager, label and business development, based in London. She will oversee a diverse roster of Ingrooves' UK and European label partners. Buckingham previously worked at AIM.
