No Cannes do: MIDEM provides 'vital lifeline' with digital edition
MIDEM director Alexandre Deniot has told Music Week that the digital edition of the music conference can help the industry emerge from the Covid-19 crisis
MIDEM was due to take place in Cannes on June 2-5, but was cancelled for the first time in its 53-year history as a result of the global pandemic.
Organisers responded by launching the MIDEM Digital Edition on the same dates. The online version will feature livestreamed and on-demand keynote sessions, talks and presentations.
