Ex-Interscope CEO Jeremy Erlich is to head up music strategy at Spotify.
In an Instagram post, Erlich said that he will take charge of the North American editorial and global curation strategy teams. He reports to global head of music Nick Holmsten in LA.
"I’m excited that my efforts will remain focused on artists, songwriters, producers, labels and publishing partners," he said. "Thanks to Daniel [Ek, CEO], Dawn [Ostroff, CCO] and Nick for the amazing opportunity.
The appointment follows the departure of Austin Daboh, Spotify’s UK head of shows and editorial, for a rumoured move to Apple Music.
