Hitmakers: Danny McNamara reveals the secrets behind Embrace's All You Good Good People

I’d had this concept of ‘All You Good People,’ but the chorus wasn’t scanning very well. I was listening to Do It Better by Happy Mondays as I was writing it and, in that, Shaun Ryder sings, ‘Good, good, good, good, double double good’, so I changed it to All You Good Good People.

Suddenly, it clicked and it’s probably gone on to become my favourite song that we’ve ever done.
