Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett on his new late-night London venue

It’s mid-afternoon on a chilly Wednesday in October and Ben Lovett is stood between a van and the brick wall of a railway arch, finishing a cigarette.

The Mumford & Sons keyboardist is outside his newly-built venue, Omeara, near London Bridge, a week before it’s due to open. “There’s still some work going on, but hopefully you’ll get the idea…” he says, as we head in through the stage door.
