Chess Club co-founder Will Street has told Music Week that its success is built on working with artists “before they become household names”.
This week (October 31-November 1), the label is hosting a pop-up shop at The Old Shoreditch Station Café in London to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Performers and DJs will include folk singer Billie Marten and Sundara Karma.
This will be followed by a party at London’s The Curtain on November 2.
