Defected Records has hired James Kirkham as chief business officer.
Kirkham has an advertising and marketing background. He has spent the last four years at football media company COPA90, coordinating partnerships with brands such as Uber, Budweiser, Nike, Pepsi and EA Sports.
Kirkham also co-founded Holler, the digital agency behind the award-winning marketing for Skins on E4.
