Blue Raincoat/Chrysalis Records CEO Jeremy Lascelles has told Music Week that its global licensing agreement with Everything But The Girl highlights the importance of artists retaining ownership.
The long-term deal, which is part of the Warner/IMPALA/Merlin divestment agreement, sees ownership of EBTG’s music return to the band, with member Ben Watt’s owning independent label Buzzin’ Fly Records.
