Stormzy’s manager Tobe Onwuka has told Music Week that the music industry can no longer doubt grime and UK rap’s mainstream impact.

Stormzy’s double BRITs triumph followed the signing of his independent label and management company, #Merky, to Atlantic in January.

After the BRITs, Stormzy’s Gang Signs & Prayer debut was certified platinum, while GQ’s latest cover shoot featuring Skepta and Naomi Campbell (wearing clothes by the MC’s Mains brand) went viral.
