The Independent Label Market has revealed plans for two London events before the end of 2016. The first will take place in King’s Cross in partnership with cafe/bar Spiritland on October 30, while the second is the organisation’s traditional Christmas event, which returns to Spitalfields Market on November 26.
Held for the first time, the King’s Cross event will run from 10am-4pm in Canopy Market off Granary Square. The labels taking part are: !K7, Faber Social, Gearbox, Late Night Tales, Mukatsuku, Soul Jazz, Spiritland, Strut, Wax And Stamp and Wonderfulsound.
Meanwhile, the Christmas market will see the following companies selling catalogue, new releases and merchandise: !K7, Acid Jazz, Because, Bella Union, Chess Club, Dirty Hit, Domino, Drag City, Erased Tapes, Fire, Heavenly, Hospital, Kitsuné, Mute, Ninja Tune, Rough Trade and Young Turks. The event will once again run in conjunction with the London Brewers’ Market.
