Julie Weir to head up resurrected Music For Nations for Sony Music

Julie Weir has been appointed to head up the storied Music For Nations (MFN) label, which is being revived as a permanent frontline rock and metal label within Sony Music UK.

The British label was founded by Martin Hooker in 1983 and licensed records by US metal heavyweights Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth, as well as signing acts such as Opeth, Paradise Lost, Cradle Of Filth and many others.
