Patrick Moxey, president of the newly revived Payday Records, has told Music Week he is building a “global hip-hop label” including a UK operation to sign British MCs and producers.
The celebrated New York City label, which helped start the careers of Jay-Z and Mos Def, has been relaunched for its 25th anniversary.
